Tissue Image Analysis

SlidePath offers automated high throughput screening solution for collecting cellular and protein expression data from full face sections and tissue microarrays.

Key features include:

  • Web-enabled solution. Users can remotely access images and algorithms via existing SlidePath products.
  • Permits analysis of whole slides or annotated regions of a slide.
  • Slides can be queued for batch processing.
  • Unique grid computing approach for high-throughput image analysis
  • Workload can be distributed across multiple processors.
  • User defined algorithm input and output preferences may be saved for subsequent re-runs.
  • Output data is automatically uploaded to SlidePath’s Distiller and Digital Slideserver products
  • Support for third party algorithm integration using API.

Applications:

Our algorithms are developed utilising common morphometric operators and proprietary analysis techniques developed by SlidePath. We offer IHC nuclear, membrane, intracellular and positive pixel staining detection algorithms optimised across a wide range of tissue types and disease states that output a range of customisable and extendable in-situ measurements such as:

  • Intensity of staining.
  • Percent positive pixels in a given area e.g. positive nuclear area.
  • Number of positive and negative cells.
  • Average optical intensity measurement in a given area.

We also offer customisable solutions for FISH/CISH signal counting, cell line array analysis, rare event detection and apoptosis.
